A film on the impact of sustained scarcity on the lives of a pastoral community in a desert region in Gujarat, Western India. Made by a collec­tive of five people, the film presents the people’s own percep­tions of their predi­ca­ment. What do they see as reasons for famine and scarcity, what do they think should be done. The film argues for the need to look at alter­na­tive planning processes.
