Aus dem Land der schnellsten Auto­fahrer der Welt (Keke Rosberg, Mika Salo, Tommi Mäkinen, Juha Kankkunen, Mika Häkkinen) stammt diese rhyth­mi­sche Montage aus mehr als 2000 Einstel­lungen von Rennwagen und von mensch­li­chen Körpern, die bei Crash-Tests zum Einsatz kamen. Ein rasantes und lärmendes Mosaik aus Beschleu­ni­gung und Bewegung.

BIO-FILMOGRAPHIE
Ilppo Pohjola

Geboren 1957. Studium am Center for Advanced Film and Tele­vi­sion Studies of the American Film Institute und am Media Arts Depart­ment des Sheridan College, Toronto. 1985-88 Studium am Harrow College of Higher Education in London und Abschluss als Bachelor of Arts in den Fächern Foto­grafie, Film und Fernsehen. Veröf­fent­li­chungen zu moderner finni­scher wie inter­na­tio­naler Kunst. Doku­men­tar­filme über die Foto­grafin Nan Goldin, den Grafiker Neville Brody und den Maler Tom of Finland. Filme­ma­cher, Produzent von Kurz­filmen und Multi­media-Instal­la­tionen, Fotograf und Grafik Designer, Dozent für Film u.v.m.
