One Two Three Four

Neela träumt, die Schlange trank Wasser, das Kaninchen erwachte, der Affe sprang hoch. One Two Three Four entstand nach einem Workshop für Kinder­buch-Illus­tra­toren in Madras. Sehr phan­ta­sie­voll zeigt der Filme­ma­cher die Welt der Kinder, ihre Erleb­nisse in der Schule und wie sie Bücher beur­teilen, die für sie gemacht wurden.

Neela dreams, snake drank water, rabbit woke up, monkey jumped. One Two Three Four was inspired by an illus­trator’s workshop for children’s story books in Madras. In an unor­thodox manner, the filmmaker explores the world of children, their school life and how they relate to books created for them.

Ausbil­dung am Film and Tele­vi­sion Institute of India in Pune. Er lebt und arbeitet in Madras. Arbeit als Kame­ra­mann für zahl­reiche Doku­mentar-, Kurz- und Spiel­filme. Regie und Produk­tion von mehr als 12 Filmen/Videos. Doku­men­tArt, Neubran­den­burg wird im Oktober 1999 eine Retro­spek­tive seiner Werke zeigen.
