Die Entwer­tung der Deutschen Reichs­mark wird durch Bildas­so­zia­tionen darge­stellt. Banknoten kontras­tieren wieder­holt mit immer wert­lo­seren Objekten, und am Ende des Films wird der völlige Zusam­men­bruch der Wirt­schaft auf symbo­li­sche Weise gezeigt.

The deva­lua­tion of the German Reichs­mark is portrayed through asso­cia­tive imagery. Bank notes are repea­tedly contrasted with increa­singly worthless objects, and at the end of the film the final breakdown of economy is shown in a symbolic way.
