Frei nach José Saramagos Vorwort (Literatur-Nobel-Preis-Träger 1998) zu dem Buch »Terra« von Sebastião Salgado wird der Alltag der Landlosen in ihrem Zeltlager erzählt bis zu dem Tag im April 1997, an dem der Marsch für eine Agrar­re­form in die Haupt­stadt Brasilia statt­findet.

For long Days is a poetical reading of the fight for the land through the times. The script presents a free adap­ta­tion of the preface of José Saramago (Nobel Lite­ra­ture Prize Winner, 1998) to the book Terra: The Struggle of the Landless of Sebastião Salgado. The daily life of the landless people is disclosed from the privacy of the encamp­ments to the arrival of the Land Tenure National Reform March at Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, in April of 1997.
