" Die Entwertung der Deutschen Reichsmark wird durch Bildassoziationen dargestellt. Banknoten kontrastieren wiederholt mit immer wertloseren Objekten, und am Ende des Films wird der völlige Zusammenbruch der Wirtschaft auf symbolische Weise gezeigt.
The devaluation of the German Reichsmark is portrayed through associative imagery. Bank notes are repeatedly contrasted with increasingly worthless objects, and at the end of the film the final breakdown of economy is shown in a symbolic way.
